As I mentioned in my Instagram message, we have started a movement and judging from your feed I am sure you’d have a little fun joining in.
At Obsessions Salon in Ramsgate It has become our mission, to put smiles on faces of women of Kent and help them get the hair style they truly deserve, the one that really suits them, that gives them confidence and that works for them everyday (and not just in the salon).
Trust me, I know how difficult it can be to be totally happy with your hair and find your perfect stylist, because my existing clients tell me so.
They explain the challenges they have experienced and share with me the common issues they have faced, I like to call these The Seven Deadly (Hair) Sins, which goes something like this…
1. Used to have their dream hairdresser but then they disappeared and it’s never been the same since.
2. Acknowledge sometimes, it better the devil you know as trying a new stylist can be scary and daunting experience.
3. Becomes tiring chopping and changing stylists, so in the end just settle.
4. Starts becoming expensive shopping around, as the hair journey starts over and resets each time they meet a new stylist instead of continuing hair care.
5. Some stylists simply get it wrong, the experience feels awkward and disappointing as they don’t seem to listen or lack the experience.
6. Even when the stylist get it right, it becomes near on impossible to recreate the blow-dry yourself at home after and that is really demoralising.
And possibly the most common issue I hear is that…
7. Although your current stylist doesn’t quite get it right, you feel guilty trying another stylist, because… they have become your friend and don’t want to upset them by being critical or god forbid cheating with another stylist.
